Okay, I totally love Object Desktop. Every bit of it is awesome and useful, and I run pretty much every app in some form or another on a constant basis.

Then one day I had my task manager open (for a completely different reason, of course, since OD stuff just doesn't crash ) and as I looked at my processes I noticed something... Objectbar was using somewhere around 57-60 MEGS of ram!

I reinstalled and ran it again, looked, and it was still massive. My Objectbar theme is totally minimal, just a system tray and a desktop popup menu, but it still uses tons and tons of ram. I don't remember it being this heavy on resources before. What happened?

I have seen this as well,,I posted about it long ago without much feedback.I quit using it.If you are running XP you would probably be doing yourself and system a favor by using WB instead.I know OB has some very cool features but with OB I run 17 to 23%,,without 2 to 4%.Did you install a newer version maybe?

My Win2k computer is using 3,320k memory for Objectbar. This is using a custom SexPistons skin, which is fairly heavy on resources. Trayserver is using 1,588k. I am using ver. 1.49 of Objectbar. I wonder what the difference is.
